City of Yuma, AZ Selects AquaTwin Water and AquaTwin Sewer for ArcGIS Pro

Aquanuity, Inc., the leader in strategy-led simulation-powered water infrastructure digital twin software, today announced that the city of Yuma, Arizona, has purchased AquaTwin Water and AquaTwin Sewer software for ArcGIS Pro.

Known as one of the sunniest places on earth, Yuma resides near the borders of California and the Mexican states of Sonora and Baja California, and near the convergence of the Colorado and Gila rivers. Its water infrastructure consists of more than 500 miles of transmission/distribution pipe ranging from 2 inches to 48 inches in diameter, over 18,000 valves, more than 3,600 fire hydrants, and some 34,000 water meters. Its wastewater collection infrastructure consists of over 350 miles of sanitary sewer collection lines and force mains with over 6,000 sanitary sewer manholes. The wastewater collection system lines range from 6 inches to 36 inches in diameter.

“Water utilities of all sizes are quickly recognizing the unprecedented business value and benefits of the AquaTwin digital twin platform for building, operating and managing sustainable and resilient water infrastructure,” said Paul F. Boulos, Chairman and CEO of Aquanuity. “The fact that progressive utilities like the City of Yuma, AZ chose Aquanuity as its solution partner clearly demonstrates the significant advantages and superiority of our water infrastructure digital twin technology.
