Aquanuity Releases AquaTwin Asset V2.0, Packed with Groundbreaking Geocentric Asset Management Capabilities To Address Evolving Customer Needs

Aquanuity, Inc., the leader in strategy-led simulation-powered water infrastructure digital twin software, today introduced AquaTwin Asset Generation V2.0 for ArcGIS Pro 3.0. Focused on expanded data analytics and geospatial functions and performance, V2.0 features a host of unique new capabilities to help users significantly accelerate CIP delivery and R&R planning and further substantiates the company’s strategic commitment to value-driven innovation for its customers.

Built exclusively on ArcGIS Pro®, AquaTwin Asset is fundamentally changing the way water and wastewater utilities and engineering firms use technology to plan, design and build safe, efficient, reliable, sustainable, resilient and smarter water infrastructure. A comprehensive 64-bit feature-packed water infrastructure capital planning and asset management software, AquaTwin Asset lets utilities automate inspection work, measure asset performance, evaluate capacity shortfalls under population growth and climate variability, pinpoint assets at highest risk considering both likelihood and consequence of failure, identify root causes and patterns, and prioritize repair and replacement activities. It also enables them to prolong operational lifespan and value of aging assets, predict future asset performance, optimize capital planning, and secure business continuity resilience. The software’s groundbreaking AquaTwin DDM extension, lets utilities for the first time leverage existing CCTV videos to automatically create detailed 3D models of their network pipes accurately depicting the location and severity of all defects along with critical information such as defect length, area and depth so they can proactively plan repair. Users are now able to maintain desired levels of service at the lowest life cycle costs with acceptable levels of risk through sustainable infrastructure strategies and investments, making it possible to achieve the operational efficiencies and the future they envision while bettering their communities.

The new version embodies more than fifty customer-requested enhancements and new features, plus significant innovations that break new ground in geoengineering productivity and efficiency. Key new features include the addition of data range selection for risk scoring calculation, the ability to utilize asset break history data from inspection or external table (such as service requests from CMMS) and directly generate AI-machine learning models, the ability to color code LOF/COF in both risk wizard and risk report, and the ability to normalize project risk score by length (in addition to cost). Other features include the expansion of any custom intervention actions into you R&R Planning (including costs), the ability to apply NASSCO inspection scores directly to AI-machine learning models, the ability to use AquaTwin DDM results (i.e., defect count, length, depth and area) in LOF calculation, and enhanced Saved Queries.

AquaTwin Asset is quickly becoming the must-have solution for geocentric risk-based capital planning and asset management solution,” said Paul Boulos, Chairman and CEO of Aquanuity. “The software unique features and comprehensive capabilities are a direct result of our ongoing effort to respond to customer needs with consistent state-of-the-art development and innovation and end-to-end engineering solutions. This newest version delivers the advanced functionality engineers and GIS professionals need to strengthen and optimize their water infrastructures and keep them operating efficiently well into the future. We are thrilled to make this superior, one-of-a-kind product available to the extended water infrastructure asset management community to help make them the best-run utilities in the world.”
