Aquanuity Appoints Feng Shang as its Director of Research and Innovation

Aquanuity, Inc., the leader in strategy-led simulation-powered geocentric water infrastructure digital twin software, today announced the appointment of its new executive role, Director of Research and Innovation.

With over 15 years of water infrastructure simulation product leadership experience with the USEPA and Innovyze (now Autodesk), Feng Shang, Ph.D., will lead Aquanuity’s product research and innovation group, focusing on technical and technology excellence. He will report to Aquanuity Chairman and CEO and will work closely with the chief product officer to empower Aquanuity’s talented technical team to generate traction against business priorities, improve existing products and develop new products, and foster a culture of innovation within the company. Feng will also be responsible for coordinating vital collaborative research and technology transfer with key universities and government organizations. Feng holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University, China and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.
