Aquanuity, Inc., the leader in strategy-led simulation-powered water infrastructure digital twin software, today announced that the Ontario Municipal Utilities Company (OMUC), Ontario, California, has purchased AquaTwin Water and AquaTwin Sewer for ArcGIS Pro.
OMUC provides water service to approximately 178,409 people within a 49 square miles area encompassing most of the City of Ontario. The potable water system includes 546 miles of transmission and distribution pipe, ranging in size from 2-inches through 42-inches. OMUC is also responsible for maintaining the sewer collection system, which consists of approximately 425 miles of sewer mains. The system operates largely by gravity but also features 4 primary pump stations and approximately 11,000 feet of associated force mains. Treatment of the City’s wastewater and permitting and monitoring of the City’s Significant Industrial Users (SIU) is performed by the Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUA).
“Water utilities are quickly recognizing the unprecedented business value and benefits of the AquaTwin digital twin platform for building, operating and managing highly efficient, sustainable and resilient water and wastewater infrastructure systems,” said Paul F. Boulos, Chairman and CEO of Aquanuity. “The fact that progressive utilities like OMUC chose Aquanuity as its solution partner clearly demonstrates the significant advantages and superiority of our water infrastructure digital twin technology. We’re proud and excited to partner in OMUC’s success.”
