Las Vegas Valley Water District, Nevada Enhances their Smart Water Portfolio with Floating Licenses of AquaTwin Water and Asset

Aquanuity, Inc., the leader in strategy-led simulation-powered water infrastructure digital twin software, today announced that the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), Nevada, has acquired multiple floating licenses of AquaTwin Water and Asset software for managing all aspects of its extensive water distribution system, optimizing operational and R&R spending, and extending lifespan of critical assets.

The LVVWD is a not-for-profit agency that began providing water to the Las Vegas Valley in 1954. The district helped build the city’s water delivery system and now delivers reliable, quality water—tested and treated in state-of-the-art facilities— to more than 1.5 million people in Southern Nevada. In addition to a service area that includes metropolitan Las Vegas and areas of unincorporated Clark County, the LVVWD also serves the communities of Blue Diamond, Coyote Springs, Jean, Kyle Canyon, Laughlin (Big Bend Water District) and Searchlight. Its water distribution system comprises more than 6,500 miles of pipeline, 53 pumping stations, 70 reservoirs/tanks, 76 production wells, approximately 400,000 water meters and a 3.1 megawatt solar-electric system.

“Water utilities of all sizes are quickly recognizing the unprecedented business value and benefits of the AquaTwin digital twin platform for building, operating and managing sustainable and resilient water infrastructure,” said Paul F. Boulos, Chairman and CEO of Aquanuity. “The fact that preeminent innovation-driven utilities like LVVWD chose Aquanuity as its solution partner clearly demonstrates the significant advantages and superiority of our water infrastructure digital twin technology. We’re proud and excited to continue to partner in LVVWD’s success.”
