Paul F. Boulos, Ph.D., BCEE, Hon.D.WRE, Dist.D.NE, Dist.M.ASCE, NAC, NAE

Chairman and CEO

Responsible for the company’s strategic vision, daily operations, and the development and growth of its global wet infrastructure software technology portfolio and global customer base. A seasoned executive, Paul previously served in senior executive leadership roles with MWH Global (President), Stantec (President), Innovyze (Founder, Chairman & CEO), and Digital Water Works (Founder and CEO). He holds B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky.

Philip Lai

Chief Product Officer

Philip oversees the company’s overall vision, strategy and development of its AquaTwin product line. He brings over 25 years of GIS-centric water infrastructure simulation product leadership experience with established and startup companies. Philip holds an M.S. degree in GIS from Texas A&M University.

Feng Shang, Ph.D.

Director of Science and Innovation

Feng leads Aquanuity’s product research and innovation group, focusing on technical and technology excellence. He works closely with the chief product officer to empower Aquanuity’s talented technical team to generate traction against business priorities, improve existing products and develop new products, and foster a culture of innovation within the company. He is also responsible for coordinating vital collaborative research and technology transfer with key universities and government organizations. Feng holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University, China and a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Ari Opdahl

Product Director

With a strong reputation for delighting customers, Ari is responsible for helping users realize their business goals with the AquaTwin software, making it the solution of choice for water utilities and engineering firms of all sizes. He brings his 18 years of knowledge and experience in the water industry with a focus on strategic risk-based water infrastructure asset management. Ari previously held product leadership roles at Innovyze, Bentley Systems and Trinnex. Ari holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in civil engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP certified.

John Crochet

Sales Director

John is responsible for assisting customers with product selection and implementation, setting them on a successful path and ensuring their needs are met based on our corporate objectives. He has spent the past three years serving the water industry with a focus on water infrastructure modeling and asset management. John earned a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Clemson University.

Erick Heath

J. Erick Heath, P.E.

Sales Director

Erick is responsible for customer growth, adoption of the AquaTwin digital platform, and expansion of channel, partnership and customer success programs. He has more than 30 years of proven experience in water infrastructure technology with a strong emphasis on sales, marketing, customer success, and building high-impact partner ecosystems. Erick holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and an MS in Environmental Engineering from California State University, Sacramento.

Customer Success Manager

JC’s central role is to ensure customers are content and are deriving maximum value from our products and their expectations are being met or exceeded. He manages training and technical support services. He holds BS degrees in Civil Engineering from Furman University and Clemson University as well as an MS degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University, SC.

Ken Raust

Finance Manager

Ken serves as Aquanuity’s Finance Manager, where he is responsible for all aspects of finance including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax and treasury. Prior to joining Aquanuity, Ken served as Corporate Controller for CORE Consultants, Inc., R&R Engineers and CLC Associates. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Accounting and an M.S. in Resource Management both from University of California, Berkeley.

Michael Chen

Assoc. Creative Director

Michael serves as Aquanuity’s Associate Creative Director, where he is responsible for developing creative guidelines and directing creative work, including print collateral, website, email campaigns, conference and social media advertising, and many related tasks. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute California, Los Angeles.
